Laser Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation Pricing in Minneapolis

PROSKIN ESTHETICS and LASER MINNEAPOLIS

One of the most frequently asked questions we receive regarding our laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments is,  “Why is ProSkin Esthetics so much less expensive than the other providersMinneapolis?”  “What’s the catch?”

There is no catch!  The answer is simply the basic philosophy of the owners.  Our goal is to provide the best, most effective treatments, using the finest machines available, with the most experienced staff, at a price that is affordable to everyone.  We would rather sell 5 treatment packages at $200.00 than wait for that single $1000.00 sale.  We’ve built a base of over 10000 clients and perform more laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments than anyone in the Minneapolis and St. Paul metropolitan area.

When cosmetic lasers were first introduced to the public most laser services were provided by Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons.  The treatments were considered a luxury and marketing was geared toward a higher disposable income clientele.  Good FDA approved machines were very expensive and it was necessary to set high prices to offset the high level of investment.  Treatments were performed in the physician’s offices and many clients viewed laser hair removal, sunspot or pigment removal, and skin rejuvenation as an elective medical procedure and were willing to pay a high price for treatment.

Med Spas offering cosmetic laser treatments began opening around Minneapolis and pricing became more competitive taking on a more “retail” mentality.  Some locations choose to maintain the higher price structure in hopes of servicing the high income clients and others choose to be more affordable to attract a wider range of clients.

Although the pricing philosophies differ, most Med Spas provide a high level of treatment quality.  There are always the few exceptions but those generally have a short life expectancy.  Most providers use proven FDA machines manufactured by a very small number of industry standouts.  A lowest priced Med Spa may well use the exact same equipment and machines as the highest priced provider.

Bottom line, check around and do a little homework before deciding on a location.  Compare pricing, ask about the machines they use, be sure they use lasers and not IPL or BBL, look at the machine manufacturer’s website, ask about their technician’s experience.  If they’re unwilling to answer your questions, keep on looking.
